Hi! I’m Sam Welch.
Sam Welch was born and raised in rural Montana, but she moved to Los Angeles as soon as she could! She studied Political Science in college before realizing she didn't want to work with politicians, who are mean. She wanted to work with comedians, who are nice! She began working as a freelance writer, and has created content for major brands including Google, Meta, Express, DoorDash, and — hold your applause — Little Bites Mini Muffins.
As much as she's always dreamed of writing about bite-sized snack cakes, Sam's passion is comedy, having performed in stand-up and improv shows nationwide. She recently completed a program at UCLA's School of Theatre, Film, and Television in Writing for TV (Comedy Track), and is in the process of completing a UCLA Extension certificate in Film & TV Development.
In addition to writing comedy scripts for YouTube channels with Clickable Network and BadPixel Productions, Sam works as a copywriter for RQ Agency creating social media content for brands like Best Buy and Papa Johns. And yes, she does get to eat a lot of free pizza.
When Sam isn't writing, you can find her reading too much news, repeating her jokes to make sure you got them, and hanging out with her little dog, Toto.
